Job Coach (Ontario)

The ideal candidate is someone who will support our clients with employment services in the Ontario area. If you have experience in the DSP, vocational training, or job coaching industries and are looking to join a dynamic, values based culture, we want to meet you!

What You'll Do

• Work alongside a group of clients (3-4 individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities).
• Coach, assist, and support these individuals in learning and excelling in their job functions.
• Ensure productivity timelines and quotas are being met daily/weekly by all members of the group.
• Assess clients’ vocational strengths and training opportunities.
• Provide documentation of assessments and performance.
• Communicate progress with case managers and supervisors to ensure client success.
• Maintain a professional relationship among group members and the job site employer.

Who You Are

• Someone who is flexible, available to work Friday through Monday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Someone who can adjust to job task changes quickly.
• Someone with a high school diploma or GED.
• Someone with reliable transportation.
• Someone who has previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or is eager to learn how to work with these individuals!
• Someone who has general warehouse/order picking experience.
