What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Service Advisor position at Vocational Improvement Program?
Be the Direct Service Advisor (DSA) that is going to change the lives of others! We are looking for a creative and energetic DSA that will introduce individuals with disabilities, also referred to as clients, to new job opportunities while simultaneously improving their job readiness! VIP has assisted thousands of adults with intellectual disabilities (Clients) over the past 37 years! The VIP goal is to maximize the potential of each of our clients, and to put them in the best position possible for independence and success. Here at VIP, we prioritize promoting from within! What You'll Do
- Create and schedule daily activity plans which focus on potential job opportunities that are tailored towards the interests of our clients.
- Transport a small group of 2-4 clients in your personal vehicle from the VIP office to various different sites (mileage reimbursement is included).
- Provide individual and small group supervision while in the community and when involved in on-site activities.
- Utilize a variety of training strategies to assist clients achieve their personal, vocational, social, and physical goals.
- Provide daily case notes and timely feedback to assist with progression of client's program goals.

- Someone who has flexible availability.

- Someone who has a valid DL, auto insurance, car registration, and a clean driving record.
- Someone who has a reliable vehicle to transport our clients.

Salary : $61,600 - $78,000
