Role Description

Responsible for Interior Design projects from start to completion ensuring that clients have the highest quality customer service and project satisfaction. Responsible for specific technical details/design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of interior design solutions. Participate as a member of the project team in all aspects of project scope, production & implementation of construction documents and coordination of consultant scope. Assist in managing client expectations. Resolves complex technical/design issues and provides guidance to the team. Coordinates communication between project team, sub-contractors and other disciplines. Responsible for ensuring that production of construction documents are in concert with design intent. Conduct code analyses and be the primary point of contact with jurisdictions. Perform submittal reviews during construction, maintain RFI and submittal logs. May supervise a small staff of interior designers and technicians.

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited program
• Fifteen plus years of experience in design and production on commercial interiors projects
• Full proficiency in Revit and AutoCad and other applicable programs
• Strong experience in construction document preparation and field operations
• Experience in all phases, from strategic planning and programming through construction and post-occupancy phases
• Competent in business writing and communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and staff
• Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management and staff
• Excellent organizational skills
