A wonderful school district in New Mexico is searching for a speech-language pathologist who would be able to work virtually for the remainder of the 22/23 school year.
Primary Responsibilites:
Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are responsible for evaluating and treating students with communication disorders, including planning, implementation and assessment of individualized education program (IEP) goals for students with disabilities in participating school division. As a related service provider, the SLP provides appropriate intervention to meet students’ individualized needs in acquiring independence in functional skills to participate in and benefit from the educational environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate with parents, educators, and other school support staff. Organizational skills and the ability to work independently are paramount.
