Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified School Psychologist to provide remote support and guidance to students, parents, and educators. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of psychological principles, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of students in a remote learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Interpret assessment data to inform educational planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide remote counseling and consultation services to students, parents, and educators on various issues impacting student learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to develop and implement effective interventions and support systems.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' educational goals, accommodations, and services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, progress notes, and communications.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
- Proficiency in conducting remote assessments and utilizing teletherapy platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and independently manage caseloads.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing school psychology practice.
