Excellent opportunity to join a leading, family owned and operated coffee importer that has over 30 years of industry expertise. We are seeking a full-time inventory accountant in our Red Bank office. The Inventory Accountant is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and complete reporting of the company’s inventory. This individual will work closely with our Finance and Logistics team and other business partners. They will be responsible for accurate and timely inventory data management, journal entry creation, account reconciliation, support of year-end audit process, as well as inventory-related projects and reporting activities, as requested. Management expects this individual to provide insightful analysis while maintaining vital systems and controls. Responsibilities

• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations between multiple warehouse location reports to our internal systems
• Tracking, reporting, and resolving any inventory-related errors or discrepancies
• Ensuring completeness of Inventory Records
• Work alongside controllers to assist with the accounting close and financial reporting processes monthly
• Analyzing appropriateness of standards and providing recommendations for changes where appropriate
• Additional items and/or Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
• Inventory management and/or accounting experience preferred
• Self-starter that takes the initiative to tackle issues and solve problems
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• High-level problem-solving and follow-through capabilities
