What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager position at Volcano Korean BBQ?
We are looking for a Manager to lead our team and oversee all activities of the restaurant. The Manager will supervise the work of the restaurant’s servers and kitchen staff, as well as ensure all requirements of health and safety regulations are met.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-food or full-service environment
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in back of house management
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the food service industry
- A knowledge of the industry, dining trends, and restaurant best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff to maintain high standards in food and service
- Ability to manage a busy front of house with a variety of dining styles
- Good understanding of computer technology, including MS Office and restaurant management software (Prezioso)
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation
Duties include:
- Assisting the manager in leading and motivating the team
- Ensuring that all servers and managers are trained in food service and sanitation procedures and follow them
- Ensuring that all food comes out quickly, efficiently, and in proper portions
- Ensuring that all tables are set with proper portions before each meal
- Ensuring that all plates are clean before each meal
- Ensuring that all kitchen stations are kept clean and stocked before each meal
- Ensuring that all restaurant break rooms are cleaned and maintained
- Assisting with scheduling shifts for servers and managers when necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
