Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in business, marketing, or communications. (MBA preferred)
- Minimum Five years of experience in running a marketing team, developing/launching/managing marketing campaigns and delivering strong results.
- High competency in project management responsible for communicating results to key stakeholders.
- Marketing in a medical setting or practice environment (Eyecare and/or premium procedure practice environment preferred).
Essential Skills and Abilities:

- Management of external vendors, agencies, and industry stakeholders
- Marketing/customer event planning and execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages Development and Implementation of the practice strategic marketing plan, goals, and objectives.
- Manages and tracks marketing and advertising budget; coordinates annual review.
- Coordinates market research, competition, demographics, potential, market share, etc.
- Develops, maintains, and distributes the branding & marketing tool kit for use at all clinical and surgical sites.
- Manages graphic design and language for all internal and external marketing promotions, including advertising, literature, press releases and displays for refractive and general practice needs.
- Manages patient tracking database system, testimonials, referral programs, and reports, as needed, to assess efficiency of marketing initiatives.
- Manages and updates practice website to ensure effective and current practice promotion, while fulfilling information requests.
- Coordinates, manages industry relationships, agreements and events.
- Oversees and manages CE event marketing, approvals, sponsorships, logistics and planning.
- Coordinates all media placement, including television, radio, print, billboards, online, social and other related media.
- Manages Social Media ad outsourcing and internal organic plan, communications and promotions.
- Manages Digital SEM/SEO content and evaluates results, reports.
- Designs, produces, and distributes practice newsletter, patient and referral communications as scheduled.
- Designs, produces and distributes all internal and patient use forms to reflect brand standards and guidelines.
- Manages and executes new business strategy implementation.
- Works with practice administrator.
- Oversees and manages development of communication, educational materials and relationships with referring providers.
- Develops, maintains patient experience program and training.
Administration and Management:
- Hires, trains, evaluates, and manages marketing team members.
- Facilitates weekly marketing and referral team meetings to ensure effective team communications and progress.
- Performs other related duties to ensure effective communication and practice promotions.
