Job Posting for Product and Process Planning Specialist, Body in White at VOLKE Consulting Ltd.
As an Automotive Product and Process Planning Specialist you will plan, source and realize inspection/production tooling and systems for Assembly of automotive Body in White in accordance with the development process chain for Body in White in relation to new model launches as well as Series planning for running models.
This role is located with our client in the Greer, SC area.
Responsibilities:
Actively participates within the project organization in order to develop a functional and economic production process.
Assess, investigates and validates product development concepts.
Implements strategic targets in the production process with regard to new technologies, innovations and business optimizations.
Plans, sources and realizes the production process on the respective production location in accordance with the target agreement, project target plan, timeline, quality targets, area, invest and production costs.
Coordinates the required internal and external teams.
Steers the internal and external resources during the installation, start-up and launch phase.
Interfaces to the system supplier. Independently handles the finances based on target agreemen for respective content between the project and supplier.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred) or the equivalent of 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
3 years of project management experience.
3 years of experience using process and product planning skills (prefer automotive Body in White planning)
using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
Advanced knowledge of the Painted Body process chain
Basic knowledge in CATIA V5
Basic knowledge in Microstation
Basic knowledge in Process Designer/ Process Simulate
Basic German language skills, both oral and written (preferred).
