Job Summary
The CRM Integration Specialist acts as a technology domain expert and leads implementations in the CRM domain area.
This role will require a deep knowledge of the Salesforce related product suite across all major cloud domains (service, marketing, social and community). The individual in this role will be required to understand the usage of Salesforce and how best to leverage this tool for the domain area. The individual will also act in a supporting role in the development of a Salesforce competency center.
Additionally, the role will execute small to medium size projects on behalf of the PIM, CRM & Marketing.
Job Responsibilities
Salesforce COE support and Domain Knowledge (40%)
Consults with Solution Architects and Platform SMEs to map out business requirements into salesforce functionality.
Maintains the implemented core functionality list across two brands and countries
Develops & Enhances best practice guide book regarding configuration vs. customization together with VWGoA CoE staff & Group/Regional SF CoE.
Consults with Enterprise Architects, IT Security and SF Solution Architects to drive an optimal architecture footprint & DevOps processes to support current and future expansion of core business use cases.
Participates in Customer Success Group meetings to understand new feature/functionality releases that occurs 3 times a year and maps them to future business demand and advices PIM and business on available newer functionalities
Will maintain platform usage report by working with experts from SF Competency Center and drive utilization of procured licenses.
Keeps track of all relevant product licenses procured by the various projects within the organization, usage, and renewals.
Supports PIM , CRM& Marketing during Application Rationalization discussions by utilizing domain and CRM application landscape knowledge to ensure platform consolidation and reduction of individual siloes of applications overall
Project Management Support (40%)
Participates in regular project SteerCos and DevOps meetings as a consultant to ensure any conflicts and project dependencies are identified at an early stage of planning.
Supports Salesforce CoE by consolidating various project implementation dates provided by Project Managers and maintaining them in a central location (SharePoint) and brings them to weekly planning calls.
Supports PIM, CRM & Marketing through continuous improvement of planning process
Participates in requirements gathering sessions in a Business Analyst role to understand & document high level requirements pipeline and assist PIM, CRM & Marketing with planning activities.
Collaborates with business area SMEs and CRM PMs to remove any communication barriers at tactical level to ensure business/project KPIs are met.
CRM Process Definition and Solution Conception 20%
Develops a process to maintain functional requirements emerging from various CRM projects and builds a repository of requirements and solutions implemented utilizing existing tools to ensure visibility to key stake holders
Collaborates with colleagues from Global and Regional CRM hubs as required by area PIM to ensure market needs (Business and IT Architecture) are represented for any Group solutions
Maintains a detailed system & process knowledge for CRM area
Identifies areas for improvement with current solution to reduce system complexity & promote high frequency development and deployment
Required Experience
7 years of industry experience
3-5 years applicable experience in technology consulting or technology implementation
Required Degree
Advanced Degree in business or computer or equivalent experience
Desired Degree
Master’s Degree (MBA/MS)
German language skills

Project management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing small to medium scale projects involving internal personnel, contractors and vendors
Ability to learn and grasp technical and business domain concepts quickly
Works with functional organizations to evaluate the impact of proposed business process changes.
Ability to communicate solutions to peers and management staff in a clear manner
Ability to participate in solution conception in domain area (CRM) in support of the PIM role
Strong technical knowledge and ability to conceptualize and express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with peer and management level staff
Beginner level consulting skills demonstrated by strong verbal and written communication capabilities
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Familiarity with Water fall & Scrum methodologies;
Proficiency in MS office suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, Visio & Word)
