Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Technicians in Oxnard, Ca

As a Maintenance Technician you will :
- Installs, maintains, repairs or rebuilds complicated machine tools and special purpose machines and equipment such as punch presses, press brakes, lathes, milling machines, radial drill presses, etc.
- Disassembles problem equipment and determines the extent of repairs necessary.
- Examines machines for defects in operation, replaces defective parts, makes necessary adjustments to insure efficient operations and fabricates minor replacement parts.
- General electrical knowledge in 110 to 480 volt a.c. circuits both single and three phase.
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.
Pay Rate is $29-32 / hr
The ideal candidate will have :
- High School diploma and / or Trade School certificate and two to four years related experience.
- Ability to arc weld and / or braze.
- Ability to trouble-shoot electrical problems. Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
