MATERIAL HANDLER IN ELK HORN, IA
Volt is immediately hiring for a Material Handler in Elk Horn, IA .
As a Material Handler, you will be:
· Responsible for performing shipping and receiving functions which include but are not limited to packing and unpacking equipment, locating boxes and retrieving equipment that is ready to be shipped.
· Responsible for utilizing strong computer skills.
· Responsible for using excellent communication and organizational skills to interface with customers and peers effectively.
· Responsible for ensuring compatibility between customer expectations.
· Responsible for working on tasks with clearly defined objectives.
This is a Full-time , contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
· High School Degree
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management while adhering to the highest standards of business ethics.
· Requires the ability and desire to learn in-house systems.
· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.
· Must be flexible and capable of working and driving between the two different Iowa locations based on the needs of the company.
· Understand project timeline, goals, and processes and take the lead to complete those requirements.
· Candidates must be in the local area (Elk Horn, IA) or willing to relocate.
· Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
