Volt is immediately hiring for NDT Technician - Visual in Decatur, IL.
2nd or 3rd Shift Only

As an NDT Technician you will:
- Provide visual weld inspections and other non-destructive inspection to the steel fabrications assembly group.
- Perform receiving, in-stream process, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications.
- Responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An associate degree in nondestructive testing or equivalent work experience.
- NDT certifications, especially Visual Welding Inspection preferred
- Related technical experience in NDT methods and processes
- An understanding of how to operate NDT equipment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
