As a Project Engineer, you will:

• Develop knowledge of and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
• Manage assigned projects from project award to project closeout, ensuring adherence to project timelines (schedule), budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate project activities, resources, and materials to ensure timely and efficient project execution
• Provide technical expertise in the design and engineering of precast concrete elements, including structural analysis, detailing, and optimization. Assist in the review and interpretation of project specifications, drawings, and other technical documents.
• Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards. Monitor production schedules and coordinate with production teams to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with erection department staff to coordinate precast concrete delivery and erection activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, contractors and agencies (e.g. Caltrans) throughout the project lifecycle, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations effectively.
• Provide estimating support as requested by estimating staff.
• Implement and enforce rigorous quality control processes to uphold product quality
  
  

This is a Full Time Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification required, California Professional Engineering License (P.E.) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in precast concrete design, engineering, and project management within the construction industry.
• Proficient with structural analysis and design software (e.g., RISA-3D, ETABS, SAP2000).
• Proficient with drafting software and Bluebeam software. Proficiency with BIM software is desirable.
• Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure, and prioritize assignments
• Strong communication, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (eg. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
  

Salary: $75,000-100,000 per year.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
