Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking candidates with Metal Fabrication, Material Handling, order pulling. forklift, assembly or wiring experience for Schneider Electric in Hopkins SC.
\n\n
Responsibilities:
\n\n
\n\t
- Routine and repetitive material handling responsibilities within the manufacturing facility. \n\t
- "Kitting" materials on the production line to ensure all parts of order required are at point of origination to keep line moving at steady pace. \n\t
- Picking parts from Kanban or storage areas and placing the parts into a storage bin (kit). \n\t
- May operate hand truck for delivery or picking of parts and supplies. \n\t
- Ensure correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements. \n\t
- Inspect parts for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. \n\t
- Trace or track lost parts and supplies. \n\t
- Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file kitter records \n\t
- Reading diagrams, wiring and assembling units \n\t
- Set machine template and run first part. \n

Requirements:
\n\n
\n\t
- High School Diploma or GED \n\t
- Experience in Material Handling and Kitting \n\t
- Experience in Metal Fabrication \n\t
- Experience reading wiring diagrams \n\t
- Experience using Power Industrial Trucks \n\t
- Must be comfortable standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and walking without restriction repeatedly \n\t
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. \n\t
- Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements \n
