We are looking for an Account Manager who will be the primary interface with our larger Utility and OEM customers and will be responsible for the maintaining and development of business relationships with current NASS customers. They will provide support to current customers, identify customer needs in their assigned territories, and help build and maintain good customer relationships. Communication, customer service, customer retention, sales skills, follow-up and action planning are key elements of this position. The ideal candidate will reside anywhere in the State of Virginia or North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
Manage an assigned base of customers.- Maintain positive relationships with their assigned partners as well as hitting all metrics and goals that are put in place by management.
- Interact with assigned customer base regularly and create strong relationships
- Research companies and create strategic plans for engagement
- Assess current services and needs, determine customer satisfaction and create plans for improvement.
- Escalate customer service issues directly to the proper employees to ensure immediate and proper resolution.
- Maintain consistent communication with manager throughout his/her employment
- Train and educate customers on service options and carrier services
- Manage, monitor, escalate and drive to resolution customer service issues
- Continually self-educate and remain up to date on industry, services and trends
- Aggressive and goal oriented with a history of hitting and exceeding goals
- Effective communicator and customer relationship skills
- Effectively utilize CRM software to update and maintain customer and prospect contact information, record service issues, increase collaboration and communication, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Assess and understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and customers at the same time
- Very organized and detail oriented with excellent follow up skills
- Creative thinker with a history of generating innovative ideas and solutions
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics.- Minimum of 3 years Account Management.
- Must possess a current and valid driver’s license and be able to maintain a good driving record.
- Advanced computer skills and competency with Microsoft products.
- Must be able to work in high stress, high demand environment
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must possess excellent presentation skills
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays and nights.
- Able and willing to travel up to 75% as needed.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering and/or a minimum of six years of related experience.
- Knowledge of the Utility and Power Industry preferred.
