Description
The IT Coordinator will provide administrative support to the IT department helping to keep the department organized and running as efficiently as possible. This includes managing inventories, working with vendors, invoice coding, purchasing, triaging and managing support tickets, and frequent coordination with other departments. As an integral part of the IT team, this position will follow established processes and documentation with an eye toward continual process improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage hardware and software inventories, including check-in and check-out of devices
· Coordination of new user onboardings and terminations including conducting new user orientations
· Assist in managing user-generated support tickets, communicating with users, and providing some basic technical support services
· Managed IT-related invoices, ensuring proper coding and charges
· Contact IT-related vendors for account and billing issues
· Maintain and improve documentation
· Purchasing process management
