Overview

VOX Global has an immediate opening for experienced and effective financial and administrative support. Key responsibilities include accounts payable oversight, vendor contract management, processing expense reports and other vendor payments. Strong Microsoft Office suite knowledge – especially with Excel –  ability to juggle priorities in a high paced environment and effective and assertive communication with high level executives are a must. Finance and accounting experience is required. This is a full-time, in-person position located in our Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor management from onboarding paperwork to invoicing
  • Manage purchase orders and assist with accounts payable requests
  • Coordinate paid advertising campaign vendor payments
  • Help manage clients and vendor contracts working closely with legal team
  • Setup new clients and billing codes
  • Assist with various agency reporting needs such as projected client team billable hours
  • Submit staff’s expense reports
  • Book ravel to include flights, hotels, and transportation
  • Back up support for office management activities
  • Deploy agency client feedback survey
  • Track professional development expenditures  

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative and finance experience, preferably in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; including proofreading and editing; ability to interface effectively with staff and vendors
  • Demonstrates capacity to work independently, with minimal supervision and show initiative
  • Routinely handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrate ability and confidence to resolve routine and complex issues from internal and external sources
  • Earn trust of colleagues and management by delivering consistent and reliable performance
  • Demonstrate financial responsibility by using company resources wisely
  • Shows responsiveness and professionalism when dealing with clients, key contacts, vendors and staff
