What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Bartender position at Voyager Restaurant?
Join the crew at Ferndale's award-winning oyster bar & neighborhood seafood spot! We're adding to our professional crew by hiring a Lead Bartender to continue the high level of service, hospitality and beverage quality we are known for at Voyager. A kind, smart, friendly and motivated individual who is skillful behind the bar and comfortable performing other front-of-house responsibilities, such as serving or hosting, if needed. A love and appreciation for seafood and experience with restaurant administrative tasks are pluses but not dealbreakers.
Our staff works as a collective to provide a high-level & heartfelt dining experience to our guests on a nightly basis. All staff members are a part of our tip pool, and front-of-house staff are routinely earning $30-$40/hour in tip-share alone (before accounting for hourly wage). Benefits include direct primary health care via Plum Health, employee/family discounts & flexible scheduling. We need both part-time and full-time staff, although full-time is the priority.
