What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cosmetics Compounder position at Voyant Beauty?
Voyant Beauty is looking to add Compounders to join our 2nd Shift Team in Ridgefield, NJ. As a Compounder, you will manufacture raw materials to produce high quality personal care products by following defined manufacturing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear, accurate, documentation of each phase of production process on batch card.
- Retrieve ingredients necessary to fulfill customer order, strictly following batch card.
- Handle prepared raw materials for each batch and lift items manually and.or with aid of pallet jack or Forklift.
- Transfer bulk into totes when required.
- Move totes of materials and transfer finished batches to designated areas for product manufacturing.
- Perform manual and automated tank cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 - 3 years relevant blending or compounding experience in a Cosmetics Manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must read, write, and speak in English.
- Basic computer skills for email and data entry.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to operate air pumps, mills, homogenizers, mixers, controls, and electrical processing equipment.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Working Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to work independently, in a team-oriented environment, and willingness to assist and train others.
