Sr. Pricing Analyst

Position Overview: The Senior Pricing Analyst contributes to Voyant Beauty’s success via managing the pricing and quotation processDuties and Responsibilities: ·Analyzing costing models with the objective of ensuring standard costs accurately reflect cost of production ·Analyzing variances (purchase price, revaluation) to assess accuracy of standard costs, inventory levels and to make recommendations for process improvement Responsible for preparing reports including tracking key trends and reconciliations on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis Pro-actively ensure CRM/Customer team requirements are maintained including timing, integrity and accuracy of quarterly pricing and quotes ·Liaising with Customer Relationship Teams, Operations, Procurement and Finance to source and validate Raw and Packaging costs, line speeds and labor and with this information construct customer cost sheet and profitability analysis with recommendations of fees to management ·Translate large complex data analysis into summary formats with observations, conclusions and recommendations. Track results of initiatives and determine effectiveness ·Post product launch analysis, performance tracking and recommendations Develops tools and processes for automating and enhancing various Pricing department duties Conduct price maintenance on assigned customers to reflect material cost and fee changes Calculate Purchase Price Variances for assigned accounts Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Experience working with any ERP system; JDE World knowledge is an asset Experience with financial modeling, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with demonstrated ability to make recommendations and implement changes Strong Excel skills Strong Attention to detail is a must Manufacturing experience would be a plus Experience managing data within a large database system Pricing experience in manufacturing desired Working well under pressure and with tight deadlines while maintaining strong accuracy Experience collaborating cross functionally with other business units desired Physical Requirements The physical requirements listed in this section include, but are not limited, to the motor/physical abilities and skills require of position in order to successfully undertake the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
