Position Overview:
We are seeking to hire a Warehouse Operations Supervisor with at least 3 years of experience to oversee our satellite warehouse in Henrietta, NY. As an essential business, our warehouse team is continuing to expand to meet the growing demands of our customers.

Job Duties:
- Oversee all warehouse logistics and operations for headquarters satellite warehouse.
- Supervise and direct staff of up to 5 personnel.
- Effectively communicate via email and phone with warehouse team at headquarters as well as sales, purchasing and other company locations.
- Handle moving large inventory items such as kitchen cabinets, water heaters, furnaces, etc.
- Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move parts to proper locations and load and unload steel trucks, as necessary.
- Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products.
- Inspect product deliveries for damages and ascertain product type and quantity are within specifications of internal purchase orders.
- Resolve discrepancies/freight claims as necessary in a timely manner.
- Ensure product is safely stored to prevent internal damage and properly located for order pulls, physical counts, and inventory control.
- Pull customer orders ensuring product pulled is aligned with customer specifications.
- Routinely perform cycle counts for the inventory control team.
- Ensure product is loaded onto trucks and is safe from potential damage while in transit.
- Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy workspace is maintained.
- Enforce warehouse receiving policies with suppliers.
- Abide by and enforce facility rules and state laws and regulations.
- Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning to create a more efficient fulfillment system.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of shipping, receiving, order selection, packing and/or stocking of products is required.
- Prior experience in a lead or supervisory position required.
- Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely according to company protocol required.
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management is a plus.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, analyze and solve problems.
- Must be proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Suite and data entry systems.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time, with composure.
- Must be willing and able to operate material handling equipment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to lift 50-75 pounds is required.
- Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location.
