What are the responsibilities and job description for the QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST III position at VSolvit, LLC?
Job Summary: VSolvit is looking for a quality control specialist to support Navy programs.
Responsibilities:
- Apply quality processes or Quality Management System (QMS) processes that coincide with the Government's Manage Quality processes which address Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Software Quality, and/or project Quality System tasks.
- Perform quality control inspections necessary in the performance of the various tasks as assigned and identified in the Quality Assurance Plan or by the respective WBS, POA&M, or quality system/QMS documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree, related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate
- 5 years professional experience related to field
- Experience with best industry practices including, when applicable, ISO/IEC 15288:2015 for System life cycle processes and ISO/IEC 12207:2017 for Software life cycle processes
- Experience with MIL-STD-1916 (Verification Level III)
- Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business
- Experience working with Navy IT Business systems including NTCSS, NALCOMIS, and OOMA
This position is currently hiring for levels 1-4, salary and level will be determined on basic qualifications of candidate. The salary range is $70,000 - $110,000.
