Project Overview:
We are seeking qualified candidates to utilize their knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve as an onsite Network Engineer who will be responsible to design, implement, manage, monitor, and support an enterprise network environment in support of our travelers, operations, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, manage, monitor, and support all network systems and solutions.
- Provide 24x7x365 support resolution for enterprise services as needed.
- Implement and support projects as required to meet TS goals and objectives.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation.
- Support Business Continuity testing and initiatives.
- Provide reports and metrics for performance analysis and growth planning.
- Adhere to all security practices and policies.
- Perform related duties as directed.
Education Requirement:
- B.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. OR
- High School Diploma with Minimum four (4) years working in an enterprise environment with the technologies outlined in the Minimum Qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Four (4) or more years of experience with design, implementation, daily management
(configuring, updating, securing), monitoring, and support of the following:
a) Cisco Routing and Switching
i) Access, Distribution, and Core
ii) Virtualization - VTP / VLAN / NFV
iii) BGP / EIGRP / OSPF
iv) Cisco ISE
v) Switch Stacking
vi) PPOE
vii) Optics
viii) Monitoring - SolarWinds
ix) Collapsed Core
x) Catalyst Center
b) Network Services
i) LAN/WAN/W-LAN
ii) Internet
iii) VPN
iv) VoiP
c) Telecommunications
i) Ethernet
ii) Fiber Optics
iii) Microwave
2) Three (3) or more years of experience with design, implementation, daily management
(configuring, updating, securing), monitoring, and support of the following:
a) Firewalls
i) PaloAlto
ii) Fortinet
b) Security Services
i) Security Appliances
ii) MFA and SSO
c) Data Center and IDF Services
i) System Racking
ii) Structured Cabling
iii) KVM
3) Three (3) or more years of experience working in a large, complex enterprise
environment.
4) Ability to regularly lift 30 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies (or equivalent):
- Advanced knowledge of common networking protocols and topologies.
- Knowledge of Lifecycle Management processes.
- Knowledge of common enterprise network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of Telecommunications Standards, Best Practices, and Solutions.
- Knowledge of Data Center Standards, Best Practices, and Solutions.
- Knowledge of Public Cloud networking Standards, Best Practices, and Solutions.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity Standards, Best Practices, and Solutions.
- One (1) or more Certifications from the following list (or equivalent):
o CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
o CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
o CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)
o PCNSA (PaloAlto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator)
o PCNSE (PaloAlto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
