We are looking for a talented HR Operations Specialist to join our expanding Human Resources Team in our Warminster, PA headquarters. The HR Operations Specialist will serve as the bridge between corporate Human Resources and our plant operations team and will work alongside operations managers on all aspects of people management and relations.
The successful candidate for the HR Operations Specialist position will be innovative, collaborative and detail oriented. The HR Operations Specialist will provide human resources support to all areas of operations. This individual will play a key role in the implementation of multiple department initiatives, as well as the enhancement of current processes and programs. Primary Responsibilities for the HR Operations Specialist position:
- Oversee the management of the company's on-site contingent labor
- Serve as Human Resource partner and subject matter expert on company policies and procedures
- Assist with contingent worker hiring, onboarding, separation and conversion to permanent employee
- Partner with operations management to understand and plan for current and upcoming workforce needs
- Coordinate onboarding and safety classes for contingent workers
- Support ongoing HR improvements efforts within the department and companywide; identify and recommend areas for enhancement and improvement
- Serve as the creative strategist for staffing challenges
- Provide ad-hoc reporting support
- Maintain current knowledge on labor market and relevant state and federal laws
- Manage special projects as needed
Qualifications for the HR Operations Specialist position:
- 5+ years’ related experience, with an emphasis in plant operations HR management
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing / production / plant environment is required.
- Possess strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong technical skills with the ability to master new systems quickly
- The ability to work cooperatively and professionally with all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Previous experience working within a seasonal business helpful
- Ability to collaborate with departments across the organization
- Must have experience working with and managing a large contingent labor program
- Must be agile and be able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment with changing priorities and deadlines
