What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support position at W.E. Bowers?
We are hiring an It Support professional to join our group. The right individual will be a problem solver with excellent time management skills, who is comfortable working independently while also being part of a team. It Support is a highly technical role, so we are looking for someone with both computer and communication skills. This position is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports directly to the Director of IT.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the end users to determine what type of computer problem has occurred and gain information on how long the problem has been occurring.
- Perform computer maintenance tasks to ensure that problems do not recur.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher levels of IT support staff.
- Must have networking experience
- Experience with toubleshooting IOS devices a plus
- Back up and maintain client data files.
- Perform PC repairs.
- Install new software.
- Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex issues as needed.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite preferred as well as video conferencing i.e. Teams, Zoom
- Maintain a work queue to ensure that all computers are serviced in a timely manner.
- Create documentation describing how to perform software upgrades.
- Must be able to travel to various jobsites and perform onsite installation and support in DC metro area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,099.00 - $70,485.00 per year
