SUPERVISOR: HEAD COOK/FOOD SERVICE
JOB OBJECTIVE
- Perform duties of servier, cashier, dishwasher, french fryer, as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- The cafeteria helper must have the ability to follow directions and maintain a safe work environment
- BCI/FBI Background Check

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observe rules of cleanliness, dress, and grooming
- Perform the duties f: server, cashier, dishwasher, french fryer as assigned by Cafeteria Supervisor
- The server will assist in final preparation of lunches, set up steam tables and serving line, and serve and count lunches
- The cashier will set up cashier station, assist cooks in final preparation of lunches, collect money, issue lunch tickets, and count money
- The dishwasher will set up dishwashing area and prepare for washing operation of dishes, pots, etc. and clean dishwashing area
- The french fryer will prepare equipment for fench fries, assist the Head Cook in food preparation and cleanliness
- Make out time sheets and other forms
- Assist other personnel in cleaning pots, stoves and steam tables, refrigerators, etc.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other duties as directed
- Comply with all Any Local Board of Education policies and procedures
ADDITIONAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue
- Occasional interaction among unruly children
- Occasional work with equipment with hot surfaces, sharp edges, and operated by electricity
