Summary: The Credit Analyst will report the Accounting Manager-CreditARCash. The core responsibility of the Credit Analyst will be to review and establish customers' credit accounts and collect monies owed to the company pursuant to the company's credit policy by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Conducts review of credit applications and authorizes open account privileges, or change of account status
- Collects all receivables and works with Customer Support Centers on disputed invoices and/or problem accounts
- Reviews delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad debt or a reserve status to the account
- Approves and coordinates special payment arrangements
- Submits delinquent and/or problem accounts as appropriate when legal action becomes necessary
- Provides customer credit information or ratings
- Adjusts and/or reconcilles customer account statements as necessary
- Special projects and/or other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, and volume.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; SXTrend inventory and order processing system.
