What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Manager position at W3Global Inc?
The client is hiring a Construction Manager. This is a new position in the client's company and will manage outside independent subcontractors in each state as well as our wholly-owned installation subsidiary.
Responsibilities:
Manage outside crews to ensure that all work meets our quality standards and the customer's expectations while delivering completed projects on time.
Maintain and manage customer relations on our projects.
Ensure that corporate policies and programs related to procurement, contracts, and human resources are implemented on a daily basis.
Ensure that clients' expectations are clearly communicated and understood by our subcontractors.
Manage our newly formed wholly-owned installation company:
Schedule and set project expectations for the crews.
Estimate project costs for sales.
Assist with interviewing, recruiting, and hiring qualified personnel.
Identify and onboard new qualified subcontractors in our territories.
Develop procedures for this new company.
Grow the number of crews.
Drive profitability.
Education:
Candidates require a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in construction or related field with 5 or more years of relevant leadership experience.
5 or more years leading and managing teams as a construction Operations Manager or Senior Project Manager
