Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing construction projects in the field of civil engineering. You will work on a variety of projects, including sitework and subdivision development.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering projects, including preliminary lot layouts and land planning, earthwork grading, paving layout, wastewater structures and networks, stormwater structures and networks, and water supply system requiments and layout
- Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to determine project requirements
- Prepare engineering drawings, schematics, and construction estimates using software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct inspections of construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
- Perform calculations using engineering software hydraulic analysis
- Provide technical guidance and support to field crews and superintendents
- Prepare reports and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in State of Texas required
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and codes
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience in project management and construction estimating
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
