Responsibilities
This is a defense attorney position, handling the defense of insured's on policies issued by mainly overseas carriers, such as Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's, London. The cases are referred to counsel by third party administrator Premier Claims Management, LLC. The caseload is approximately 65 cases. 50% is construction defect. There are also e-cig, massage liability and trucking cases. Counsel will need to prepare pleadings, make appearances, meet with clients, and prepare reports. This is a two-attorney office with two paralegals in support.
Qualifications
We are looking for an attorney who has passed the California Bar and has 10 years' experience. Prior trial experience preferred.
