Free of cumbersome camera cables, ArthroFree enables surgeons to work with maximum dexterity, precision, and focus. Without camera-cable-related interruptions, surgeons are able to keep their eyes on the monitor-and on their patients' well-being. This company commenced commercialization (initial sales) of its first product ArthroFree in 2023.

Position Summary

This company is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform accounting duties within their organization. The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include improving internal controls, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger including integration with Bill.com, and banking/credit card inputs, senior level bookkeeping responsibilities, and performing other accounting duties as needed in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping up with best practices, managing, and updating QuickBooks On-line (QBO).
• Responsible for the accounting close process, account reconciliation and support to outside auditors.
• Designs ad-hoc managerial information/reports to assist departmental teams in the administration of their respective decisions.
• Responsible for documenting and improving internal controls in companies of similar size and complexity.
• Responsible for processing multiple transaction cycles including purchasing, accounts payable, inventory/CoGS, cash management, sales and collections. Payroll and benefits are handled by a service provider.
• Assist CFO in transitioning the accounting function from an outsourced service provider to the in-house team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of documenting and improving systems of internal control.
• Interfacing with outside accounting professionals and all levels of the team in an emerging company environment.
• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision including remote personnel.
• Ability to train team members.
• Experience with an Inventory and manufacturing environment, preferred.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Expert level Excel skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with the following software, preferred.
• QBO or similar software.
• Bill.com
• Pulley or CARTA
• HubSpot
  
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required.
• 5 years' experience in accounting or senior level bookkeeping.
• CPA, preferred.
