Job Posting for Food Services Coordinator at Waban Projects
Come join our fun and dedicated team at Fraser-Ford as our food services coordinator. We seek an individual who is motivated to provide nutritious food for our students while following the Child Adult Care Food Program guidelines. Become certified by ServSafe and develop knowledge around food preparation and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment. Work collaboratively with teachers and co-workers in menu planning, and place weekly orders with contracted vendor while staying within a budget. The food coordinator is also responsible for collecting accurate and timely data in variety of forms (e.g. monthly menus, meal counts, portion menus) and entering into required electronic systems. The position also includes completing monthly food program claims with accuracy and in a timely manner and taking lead in the annual CACFP contract.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older; have a high school diploma or equivalent; be able to work independently; must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence and a clean driving record. Preference given to candidates with experience in food services industry, Serv Safe and CACFP guidelines.
Benefits: This full-time position is 32.5hrs per week and benefit eligible to include health, vision & dental insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, as well as paid time off (PTO).
