Inspects Unit for any prep flaws. Following blueprints and work orders, verifies paint codes and layout. Tacks off and paints using correct paint system, either gravity fed or pressure pot as required.

Experience
- Painting techniques and paint preparation
- Various paint systems, including: clear coat, basecoat/clearcoat & Dupont Elite
- Proper use and disposal of paint and related chemicals/materials
- Cleanup and proper maintenance of spray-painting equipment
- Specialty Vehicle Manufacturing Environment
- Read and follow blueprints and work orders
- Tape measure accuracy
- Paint preparation
- Various air tools
- Cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment
- Lifting- minimal
- Squatting/bending/kneeling/overhead work
- Work from ladders
- Standing for long periods
- Walk and move about as required
- Exposure to paint, paint fumes and related materials
- Safety glasses with side shields
- Steel toe work shoes / boots
- Tyvex protective suits
- Gloves
- Respirator (charcoal) and respirator training
- Fresh Air System
- Proper use and disposal of paint and related chemicals/materials
- Housekeeping
