What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refurb Technician position at Wacom?
The Refurbishment Technician is responsible for receiving, sorting, inspecting, refurbishing, and repackaging returned products.
This position is based in our Vancouver, WA location. Schedule 7:00am -3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Pay & Benefits: $18.00-20.00/ hour. Pay within this range is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. What you will be doing:
- Responsible for receiving RMA returns from FedEx, UPS or others
- Confirm product returned matched RMA issued
- Move returned material to appropriate staging location
- Inspect returns to determine if they are new or used
- Test, clean, and repackage returns as necessary insuring product contains all necessary accessories and inserts
- Track and record tablet, display, and accessory returns that are scrapped
- Track and record any material removed from FG and used to refurb tablets and displays
- Maintain cycle count accuracy at or above 98%
- Prepare items for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, and securing product
- Document product shipment by recording order documentation
- Ensure correct delivery and shipment of materials
- Clean and organize refurb area
- Work with the planner to establish reorder points for supplies
Skills you bring:
- High school education or equivalent
- 3 years prior warehouse experience required
- Ability to operate forklift and other basic warehouse equipment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while accurately preforming repetitive tasks
- Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills
