Position Description:
We are looking for a Sustainability Intern to join our team to develop corporate and project-based sustainability initiatives. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil and/or environmental engineering, sustainability, environmental science, landscape architecture, urban planning, or other related field of study. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required, and knowledge of design software and ESG/CSR reporting systems would be a bonus. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and have excellent communication skills.
\n- Gather data to support ESG reporting
- Develop marketing materials
- Developing project sustainability standards
- Perform emissions calculations under sustainability leads
- Perform project work related to renewable energy, recycled materials, local supply chains, and green infrastructure design
- Research educational engagement topics
- Work with multiple market segments across all offices
- Ability to work with project managers and take direction from them
- Communicate effectively with internal staff and clients
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Pursing Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and/or Environmental engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or other related field of study
