Corporate Dispatch Agent

Founded in 2013 and based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Waitr is a leader in on-demand food ordering and delivery. Waitr, along with Bite Squad, connect local restaurants to hungry diners in underserved U.S. markets. Together they are a convenient way to discover, order and receive great food from local restaurants, national chains and grocery stores. As of June 30, 2020, Waitr and Bite Squad operated in small and medium sized markets in the United States in over 600 cities. Job Summary We’re looking for motivated Dispatch Agents with entrepreneurial mindsets to join our Waitr Corporate team. Dispatchers are responsible for assisting our partner drivers and making sure that all orders are being handled in a timely manner. We’re looking for motivated individuals with the ability to multitask and analytically and efficiently determine proper routing to deliver as many orders to our customers as possible in a given timeframe. Previous employment experience in the restaurant industry or in dispatching is preferred. Starting wage - $13 an hour!
