The Position: We are currently looking for a local Commercial Construction Superintendent with ground up experience.

Requirements:
· Substantial experience in ground up commercial construction
· Understanding of project scheduling and completion sequence and ability to maintain that schedule throughout the project
· Capable of managing a team of subcontractors through leadership, communication and planning
· Ability to interpret blueprints and coordinate between civil, architectural, structural & MEP designs to ensure they flow together and match
· Must be decisive and work well under pressure, particularly when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form or via company applications
· Proactive approach to problem-solving, and process improvement
· Must be willing to work days or nights
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate with the Project Manager to schedule subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain project schedule and budget
· Permit supervision; including scheduling inspections and meeting with inspectors on site
· Oversee entire construction process from mobilization through close out
· Ensure all SWPPP is properly set up and maintained
· Identify work sequencing, access, or coordination issues that could lead to delays or construction defects and work with Project Manager to resolve issues
· Develop a thorough understanding of subcontractors “scope of work”, means and methods to ensure they adhere to plans and specifications
· Provide accurate reporting and documentation on project quality control and ensure corrective actions are taken on defective work
· Aggressively pursue the completion of project punch list once issued.
· Maintain a clean and safe job site, including regular site reviews and safety meetings
· Enforce Safety measures and report all safety violations to the project manager
· Utilize Procore to complete daily reports, monitor conversations and take daily pictures
