The Body Shop Prepper is responsible for preparing vehicles for specified repair and paintwork. Duties include washing vehicles to remove dirt and debris, preparing surfaces for painting, applying and removing paint masks, mixing paint according to manufacturer specifications, inspecting painted vehicles for quality workmanship, and preparing vehicles for customer delivery. The Body Shop Prepper must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must be a minimum of eighteen years of age with a valid driver's license. Pre-employment screens including a background check and drug test are required.
