Job Description
The Team Lead acts as a front-line extension of the manager's and/or supervisor’s authority. Helps ensure the employees are present and the work is completed on time. Provides support, training, direction and assistance to his/her team members on all areas of their assigned duties. Ensures control of system transactions. Will lead and assist in the delivery of premiere customer service, expediting customer needs, and system testing. Will also actively deliver process improvement projects.
Responsibilites
- Direct, train and coordinate employees engaged in system transactions and the processing of goods
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations through interaction and ensure customer inquiries and needs are fully addressed
- Schedule and lead meetings
- Prepare requisitions for materials and supplies
- Assist with scheduling of shipments
- Assist with work schedules, assignments, and production sequences, to meet production goals
- Identifies and implements standard work and associated standard operating procedures
- Confers with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
- Confers with supervisors and other Team Leads to coordinate operations and activities within departments or between departments
- Responds to, investigates, and researches discrepancies to identify errors, make corrections, and implement permanent corrective actions
- Reads charts, work orders, or production schedules to determine production requirements
- May have responsibilities related to invoicing shipments and daily inventory/process reporting
- Recommends or implements measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency
- Inspects materials, products, or equipment to detect defects /malfunctions.
- Lead safety efforts in area of responsibility
- Demonstrates equipment operations or work procedures to new employees or assigns employees to experienced workers for training
- Monitors or patrols work area and enforces safety or sanitation regulations
- Assists with Quality Control measures and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
3 – 5 years of general manufacturing or warehouse operations experience in a combination of floor, office environments.
Knowledge of ERP, Inventory Control Systems, and Microsoft Office is a plus- Ability to type and 10 key is a plus

Pay Range: USD $27.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
Salary : $27 - $30
