Stock Supervisor
Walmart 1657 is a leading global flexible packaging company with comprehensive product offerings. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in managing a team of up to 100 people. The company is seeking to hire a full-time Stock Supervisor who will be responsible for the supervision of the work force and the overall supervision of the facility. The Stock Supervisor will also be responsible for the maintenance of stock and inventory, as well as the quality control of products.
An individual must be proficient in each of the competencies listed below to successfully perform the responsibilities of this position.
This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Maintains area merchandise presentation and inventory accuracy by leading and guiding teams in receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise; removing damaged or out-of-date goods; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; zoning the sales area; signing and pricing merchandise appropriately; binning and picking merchandise; preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food to meet safety and compliance guidelines; operating and sanitizing food-related equipment; completing bin audits; working inventory exceptions; correcting shelf capacities; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise; following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials; and following opening and closing procedures in area of responsibility.

Identifies poor inventory practices and low in-stock levels in assigned area, and reports them with ideas for corrective action. Demonstrates and helps others with the safe and proper use and maintenance of inventory tools and equipment.
Food:Handles, stores, cooks, and cleans food according to company policy and procedures. Informs customers about food items when asked to do so. Prepares, takes, and fills orders for food items in a timely manner. Observes and reports complaints and problems with food products, services, and work areas. Uses food equipment and supplies according to company policy and procedures.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College Degree preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in supervisory position, preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing employees and maintaining positive working relationships with staff and clients.
