Job Responsibilities

• I will react immediately to Meat & Produce, FDD, and HVDC deliveries for a quick unload
• I ensure all out-of-date products are removed from the salesfloor daily (see Process Guides for specific date guidelines).
• Make sure your true availability is up to date.
• Familiarize and use the Me@Walmart app.
• Use Shift Swap as needed from the Me@Walmart app.
• Review unfilled shifts in the Me@Walmart app to gain more hours.
• I provide customer service.
• I collect carts so they are ready for customers.
• I make sure the parking lot and store entrance is clean.
• I sign out the propane key and assist customers with propane purchases and exchanges.

Cart Associate

• I provide customer service.

At shift beginning

• Make sure carts are available for customer use
• Make sure electric cart retriever is charged
• Make sure electric carts are charged, signed, and ready for customer use

Daily as needed

• Gather carts from parking lot and put in cart storage areaBegin with carts and electric carts left in accessible parking areas
• Check carts for repairs and remove broken carts from cart storage area
• Clean carts
• Make minor repairs or adjustments to carts

At end of the shift

• Make sure electric cart retriever is charged
• Make sure electric carts are charged, signed, and ready for customer use
• Check parking lot and carts for items left behind and take items found to Service DeskCustomer merchandise

Customer personal items (phones, purses, wallets, etc.)

• Clean parking lot and remove trash
• Clean entrance windows and doors
• Initiate inclement weather measures when necessary
• Verify accessible parking area is free of obstruction
• Assist with propane tank exchange
• Assist with customer carry-out requests
• Assist with loading large customer purchases

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
