***Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000/year***

A coach supports their team leads by ensuring their team goals align with the store's goals.
They communicate with team leads about their team’s performance and plans on how to
improve the store’s performance. They support the store associates by providing them with
long-term career progression and future-focused business planning.
Your local Pierre, SD Walmart Supercenter is hiring Coach Trainees!
Positions Available:
● Auto Care Center Coach
● Overnight Stocking Coach
● Food and Consumable Coach
Responsibilities:
● Motivates team to meet goals and perform at high standards
● Encourages collaboration and teamwork amongst associates
● Reinforces what teamwork should look like and that team lead executes the vision
● Creates and communicates merchandise plans
● Understands and plans to improve the P&L
● Exhibits a total store mindset
● Guides associates who need improvement and provides honest feedback
● Spends time listening to associates and acts on their ideas, questions, or concerns
● Evaluates talent, identify career paths for associates, and staffs the team appropriately
Minimum Qualifications:
● 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1-year supervisory experience; OR 2
years general work experience and 1-year supervisory experience.
● Facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, may require a
current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
● Facilities that sell firearms require successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal
Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
