Description
Design Consultants travel to client’s property to determine how Walpole Outdoors product may improve the property’s aesthetic or functional quality. After consultation with the client the Design Consultant will quote products needed and sell the client on the value of Walpole Outdoors integrated solution including design consultation, product manufacturing, delivery, and installation, while providing an exceptional end-to-end customer experience. Specific minimum requirements:
· Achieve $1.0MM in annual sales
· Achieve monthly favorable online reviews
· Manage customer relationships with Salesforce.com
· Schedule site visits and be prompt for appointments
· Research client and opportunity via online tools prior to site visit
· Visit client’s property and proudly represent Walpole with courtesy and professionalism
· Greet customers with enthusiasm, build rapport though product knowledge and expertise on Walpole products, competitive advantages, product trends and market conditions
· Clearly communicate product recommendations and solicit immediate client feedback when possible
· Prepare and present written quote then review in person with client
· Create accurate list of products and services to be converted to SAGE Sales Order
· Assist with the collection of payment when appropriate
· Maintain timely and accurate records on company CRM Salesforce.com
· Ensure all sales are run through Salesforce to be eligible for commission
· Guarantee Walpole Outdoors is paid in full for all invoices issues to our customers
· Maintain client communication from start to finish of job, all employees to return phone calls and emails as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours from receiving the correspondence
· Use local showroom as a resource
o Partner with Showroom Manager to improve sales effectiveness for all
o Schedule client meetings at showroom to view products when appropriate
o Assist with training/mentoring Showroom Sales Associates
· Create and report on financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and regular company training
· Comply with all legal and regulatory guidelines
