What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Administrator position at Walser Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram?
Our Service Department here at Walser Chrysler Jeep Dodge is fast-paced, dynamic, and team-focused. We’re looking for our next Warranty Admin: someone who is driven by the details and loves being an active contributor to the team. This role allows you to be a true subject matter expert and support the department when it comes to all things warranty.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure warranty repairs are carried out to the highest standards of quality possible to ensure customer satisfaction
- Responsible for checking, verifying, and processing vehicle warranty forms
- Process and reconcile claim settlement paperwork received from manufacturers and concessionaires
- Correct and resubmit rejected claims where it is felt that the claim is valid, as well as conduct reporting on claims rejected for which a resubmission is not possible
- Proactively investigate overdue claims and discuss issues raised with manufacturer/concessionaire representatives and fellow staff as appropriate
- Support team by explaining warranty conditions and procedures to avoid misunderstanding and conflict
- Control all filing of claim paperwork to ensure a clear audit trail which can be clearly followed and proven to any manufacturer’s /concessionaire’s warranty auditor
- Assist in end of day cashier close, cashiering customer and training cashiers when necessary

What You’ll Bring:
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive mindset and enthusiasm for working in a team
- Must have strong data entry skills
- Ability to operate current computer software (Word, Excel, Manufacturer website, etc.)
- Capability to assess and report on warranty repairs
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- ADP experience (highly preferred)
- A good understanding of automotive parts and cars (preferred)
