Maintenance Mechanic
Hours: Monday - Friday
8:00am - 4:00pm

Walsworth started back in 1937, when Don Walsworth started printing playbills and cookbooks in Marceline, Missouri during the Great Depression. Since the start, Walsworth has acquired several other businesses which lead to the printing of scholastic yearbooks and commercial printing.
Here we are in 2024, Walsworth is still a family-owned business, we are among the top three yearbook printers, 29th largest printer in U.S. and Canada, and the 3rd largest magazine printer. More than 87 years later, we recently welcomed the fourth generation of Don Walsworth to the company, and we are still true to our original companies' values.
As the Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for all repairs, troubleshooting and preventative care throughout the building that maximizes productivity, meets scheduling requirements, minimize costs, and promotes a safe working environment, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance repair assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor / Manager.
- Routine inspections of equipment to determine if any repairs are needed.
- Troubleshoot all electrical, mechanical, heating and cooling equipment.
- Ensure you are following all safety procedures and regulations.
- Utilize problem solving skills to maintain productivity, quality, and safety on all equipment.
- Report irregularities to appropriate leadership.
- Document all repairs in the maintenance repair request program.
- All other job duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
- Must successfully complete any training or certification courses required to support or strengthen confidence.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Electrical / PLC experience
- Plumbing and HVAC experience (preferred)
Qualifications
