As a Client Partner, youre a proactive business developer and relationship-builder, understanding the challenges and opportunities of businesses in the digital age, uncovering opportunities for custom software development and services, and driving positive outcomes for our clients.

This position will offer hybrid working from any Waracle office (Dundee, Edinburgh,Glasgow or London)and is a commercial role focusing on new client acquisition within our key industry verticals.

As a Client Partner at Waracle, your key responsibilities will include:Identify, qualify, lead and win new business opportunities to achieve assigned financial and KPI-based targets.

Follow a multichannel approach to new business development, actively engaging in marketing and content-driven campaigns, conferences/events, prospecting and working with partners.

Conduct market and prospect research to develop strategy and new business pursuit approaches.

Sell the full range of Waracle services, including strategy, design, engineering and AI, whilst positioning Waracle as a strategic partner.

Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, collaborating with the wider Waracle teams to define solutions and ensure a smooth transition from initial contact through to contract closure.

Coordinate the creation of client proposals and engage in deep discussions about client needs to devise tailored Waracle value propositions.

Accurately track sales leads and opportunities, manage commercials and report to senior management on account and opportunity status.

Maintain strong client relationships with stakeholders, understand individual goals and motivations, and actively identify new business opportunities.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless project delivery, mitigate risks and provide exceptional service and value.

Contribute to Waracle's overall client strategy, share best practices and promote team collaboration.

Job requirements

A natural self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, excellent communication skills, collaboration and high integrity.

Demonstrable enterprise business development experience and new client acquisition, with one of more Waracle target industries (Financial Services, Energy, Health) for a design/technology consulting business.

Experience in senior revenue-generating roles with a track record of new client acquisition, consultative selling, exceeding targets and developing client relationships that result in £2-3m of annual revenue.

A high level of knowledge of at least one Waracle industry (Financial Services, Health or Energy) and experience in building senior relationships and growing accounts.

A track record of selling high-value and high-margin strategic services and the ability to position and communicate this value to prospects and clients.

Excellent communicator who can influence at the board level while being flexible enough to collaborate with our teams on complex delivery solutions.

Demonstrable understanding of technology and software delivery, including design, agile delivery, mobile, web, cloud, Data & AI.

Strong ability to collaborate with and lead multi-disciplinary teams to achieve goals and deliver to deadlines.

Ability to execute successfully in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

The recruitment process you can expect for this role is an initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who will chat with you about Waracle, what you are looking for in a new position, the salary for the role, notice period and benefits (the important stuff!). After that, will follow a 2 introductory interviews with members of our leadership team. The final interview will involve a proposal task, where you have an opportunity to showcase your technical craft, find out more about the role and show off your skills and experience.
