What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classroom Assistant position at Ware Academy?
Ware Academy is seeking a classroom assistant to join our team for 2023-2024 school year. Candidate will support, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing a quality instructional program. Duties include:
- Maintains a pattern of prompt and regular attendance
- Assist in meeting the academic and social/emotional needs of students
- Supervises students in all areas of the school.
- Communicates clearly and positively with students
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher
- Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students in school environment and community.
This is a 9-month position with summers off.
Salary is based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: $19,500.00 - $25,000.00 per year
