What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Statistical Programmer | Fully Remote position at Warman O'Brien?
Summary
We are partnered with a Mid-Sized CRO (3000 employees) who are seeking a talented Team Leader in Statistical Programming. You will provide technical expertise and leadership to the department, as well as developing process methodology for the department to meet internal and external clients’ needs. This role will also involve some line management alongside project work. All whilst working for a smaller company where your work will have a larger impact.
What will you do?
- Using your knowledge of SAS, you will contribute towards the delivery of high-quality statistical programming outputs, keeping within CDISC standards in the production of tables, listings and figures
- Using your technical expertise, you'll manage a programming resource for a designated set of projects, involving the planning and allocation of project work.
- Proactively manage and develop the performance of other Statistical Programmers.
- Fulfil project responsibilities at the level of statistical team lead for single complex studies or group of studies
- Using your leadership experience, you will understand the SOW, budget and quote assumptions and occasionally managing project budget and resource requirements for single studies.
- Provide consultancy, mentoring and guidance to Programmers and Statisticians on programming and associated software support.
What do you need?
- 7 years’ experience in a Statistical Programming role in industry.
- Previous experience with leading Phase II and/or phase III studies.
- Experience in validating analysis datasets using CDISC, ADaM standards and TLFs.
- Preferable experience using pinnacle 21 and Define.XML
- Excellent communication skills and professional leadership experience.
- Some Line management experience desirable.
