Description:
We are looking for friendly, motivated candidates with excellent communication skills and great work ethic. Schedule must be available evenings and weekends. The perfect candidate for us is a motivated team player who always puts the guest first. The ideal AHH is someone who enjoys talking to people and wants all guests who walk through our doors to have the best experience possible. They should be able to multitask in between individual stations. These stations are host desk, bussing, seating, takeout orders, to-go packaging, and cleaning. Greeters oversee seating which involves quick thinking and problem solving. Greeters are just as busy as the servers, if not busier sometimes, so you need to be able to keep calm and figure out the best route to take.
Responsibilities:
- Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact, escort them to assigned dining area, present menus, announce server's name and informing server of new table
- Greeting customers as they come in and helping with any needs they have
- Recognize if servers need anything extra (highchairs, booster seats, wheelchair accessibility.)
-Managing a waitlist during busy times
-Seating guests in proper rotation to ensure all servers get sat equally.
-Clearing tables quickly and efficiently so they can be cleaned and reseated
-Receiving call-in take-out orders and putting them in our system without error
-Packaging to go orders. Ensuring all orders have all necessary materials and ordered products.
-Handle cash transactions
Skills:
-Able to multitask effectively
-Have good phone skills and patience for to-go orders when customers have questions
·Bussing and setting tables.
·Answering phones to take reservations and to-go orders.
·Receive payments by validating credit charges, approving checks, accepting currency, calculating and issuing change for to-go orders
·Manage the flow of guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate
·Staying up to date with specials, hours of operation as well as take-out and ordering procedures.
·Restocking to- go section
·Tidying restrooms and other common areas
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
